BBG Broadcasters Engage Global Audiences in Inauguration Coverage
Audiences around the world will have front-row seats to the Presidential Inauguration on January 20 through radio, television and online coverage by Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) broadcasters.
BBG journalists will report from throughout Washington, D.C. to capture the elaborate preparations, the opening celebration, the swearing-in ceremony, the parade and the inaugural balls. Coverage will include live reports, interactive features, expert analysis and special thematic programming. Voice of America (VOA), Radio Free Asia (RFA), Radio Sawa, Alhurra TV and Radio and TV Marti will broadcast portions of the ceremonies, including the inaugural address, live with simultaneous translations.
BBG broadcasts, available in 60 languages, are seen or heard by over 175 million people each week.
