Town Halls and Public Meetings

VOA seeks to engage and inform people through dialogue and interaction. It invites people to attend Town Hall public meetings where they can listen to experts and public officials and voice their opinions.

Town Hall meetings are held on a range of subjects, including education, health, political participation, women’s rights and the role of the voter.  These meetings have been held around the world, including Argentina, Nigeria, Mozambique, Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania.

Besides Town Hall meetings, VOA organizes events that are broadcast/webcast live. These events allow participants to interact with officials.
