Radio Martí Brings the NBA Finals to Cuba

Miami, FL – The 2014 NBA Finals between three-time champions Miami Heat against the four-time champions San Antonio Spurs will be one of the most popular rematches in recent NBA history and Radio Martí will bring all the action live to audiences in Cuba.

Hosts Victor Fabian Gonzalez and Juan Pendas will bring play-by-play commentary to the NBA finals on Radio Marti

In the second year of the partnership with the NBA, Hosts Victor Fabian Gonzalez and Juan Pendas will bring play-by-play commentary starting with the Thursday, June 5th game in San Antonio and from the American Airlines Arena for the Miami games.

“We are thrilled that we can bring the excitement of the live action of NBA Finals to our Cuban audience,” said Carlos Garcia Perez, director of the Office of Cuba Broadcasting that oversees Radio Marti. “Getting the up-to-minute news of the NBA is something unique we can offer sports fans on the island.”

Radio Martí will broadcast all NBA Final games on shortwave frequencies 6030kHz, 7365kHz and on 1180 AM in Cuba.
