Radio Free Asia’s in-depth coverage of the protests and growing unrest in China’s Tibetan regions is providing a lifeline of information for minority ethnic populations often subject to tight controls and crackdowns by Chinese security forces.
In addition to its on-the-ground reporting, RFA continues to work with its Tibetan and Uyghur listeners to gather an extensive array of eyewitness accounts and multimedia from the Tibetan regions as well as the Xinjiang and Sichuan provinces of China.
RFA’s coverage has been cited by media outlets around the world, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and CBS News.
