The public is invited to join the Broadcasting Board of Governors for its first ever public meeting on Friday, June 3, 2011 in Washington, D.C. The Board will provide an update on its strategic review and activities since June 2010, announce the Burke Award winners to recognize courage, integrity and originality of BBG journalists, and take questions from the public on U.S. international broadcasting.
If you can’t make it, the meeting will be streamed live at BBG.gov. If you are unable to attend in person, please feel free to submit questions in advance via email@example.com with “BBG Public Meeting” in the subject line.
